Jackie MM Gonzales, PhD, environmental historian
Jackie is an environmental historian with experience in environmental litigation research, land use histories, and interpretive exhibit content development. She is currently revising a manuscript on coastal conservation in the United States. She has worked with the National Park Service in Georgia, Indiana, on Cape Cod, and at Manzanar National Historic Site in Independence, California. She holds a PhD in Environmental History from the University at Albany, SUNY, and has worked in environmental policy at Parks & Trails New York (PTNY), New York's leading voice for parks and trails, and the Environmental Advocates of New York. She currently works as a consulting historian at Historical Research Associates, Inc., in Seattle, Washington.
